WHITELEY construction company, Morgan Ashurst, has appointed Joanne Walker as supply chain manager in the South.

“I’m really pleased to have joined Morgan Ashurst as it’s one of the biggest construction companies in the UK and has a number of exciting projects,” said the 34-year-old.

“Where possible, we are committed to working with local suppliers because, in the current economic climate, strong relationships are vital for success.”

Joanne began her career as a trainee estimator and joins Morgan Ashurst from Mansell Construction Services, where she worked as a senior procurement surveyor.

She brings 14 years’ experience to her new role and has a BSc (Hons) in construction management from Southampton Solent University.
