EXPANDING Fareham-based Amiri Construction has appointed Simon Pervin as a senior site manager.
His first project to manage is a £3.5m catering facilities new build and refurbishment at the prestigious Lord Wandsworth College independent school near Hook.
Simon, from Chandler's Ford, started in the industry as a trainee carpenter with his father-in-law’s company Hobden Williams almost 30 years ago and there he eventually ran the small works operation.
He then worked with for an number of larger construction companies including Bam Construction South East and developed his site management skills.
Amiri director Mark Vincent, said: “Not only does Simon possess the experience necessary to manage multi-million pound developments, he is also a keen motorcyclist and his Honda Fireblade will ensure that he can make it through rush hour traffic to get to any of the sites he is appointed to manage!”
Amiri Construction, launched in 2005, .has recently expanded to create an Interiors division and also a specialist Small Works team. It currently employees 43 people from its the Head Office at Segensworth and has seen its annual turnover top £43 million
