The new tug Svitzer Adira at work in the port
A NEW tug has been introduced to the Svitzer fleet of five in the Port of Southampton.
The naming ceremony for the Svitzer Adira took place on September 26.
The Svitzer Adira has been specifically designed with the requirements of the port in mind.
She comes with both firefighting and escort class notation as well as being powerful enough to assist the largest vessels visiting the port.
