THE Rural Business Hub has opened its doors to welcome small businesses to a new shared work space.

The brainchild of Caroline Reeves, the Rural Business Hub offers the chance to get away from the kitchen table and the distractions of home, and escape to a welcoming, comfortable place of work at The Old Post Office in Hurstbourne Tarrant.

At the space, there is a selection of workspace options, including monthly, weekly, daily and hourly hot desks and meeting room hire, wifi and a kitchen area with all facilities on a fully inclusive payas-you-go basis.

There’s also business support, plus the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other small business owners and free parking.

Kit Malthouse MP for North West Hampshire, said: “It was great to join Caroline and local business people at the launch of the Rural Business Hub at The Old Post Office in Hurstbourne Tarrant. Shared space is a fantastic way of encouraging business growth in the community and as a small business owner myself I very much welcome a place where ideas and experiences can be exchanged and opportunities explored.”

Caroline said: “Whilst the idea of working from home in such beautiful surroundings can be idyllic, the reality can sometimes be isolating and distracting. I wanted to create a workspace where businesses feel supported, can establish that separation between home and work, at the same time as having access to good broadband and the opportunity to collaborate with other business owners, without making a huge commitment to rented space.”

A range of workshops and courses are available at the venue.
