IT COULD be your path to a new career.

The Daily Echo's highly successful Jobs Fair returns to the O2 Guildhall, Southampton on Tuesday, March 21.

Between 10am and 3pm a host of employers will be on hand to give advice and alert you to any opportunities that may be available, click here to see last years exhibitor list.

Throughout the day there'll be a packed seminar programme giving advice and guidance on a on careers in popular sectors.

Members of he National Careers Service will be on hand offering one-to-one advice sessions on improving your CV, interview skills, returning to work, self employment and more.

Among the employers signed up for this year's event are Hampshire County Council, one of the area's biggest employers.

The council's Executive Member for Human Resources and Performance, Councillor Stephen Reid, urged visitors to the event come to the HCC stand.

“We are delighted to be taking part in this year’s event, and look forward to providing an opportunity for people to learn more about the wide variety of valuable and fulfilling roles on offer with Hampshire County Council," said Cllr Reid.

“We are the third largest shire council in the country and employ over 37,000 staff in a range of full and part-time positions (including school-based staff) - delivering some of the best local services in the country, to Hampshire’s 1.3 million residents.

Among the other employers due to take part at the event are Gala Bingo, who have Customer service assistant roles to fill, Paultons, who are looking for staff for the summer season,

Carewatch, Peter Symonds, Sarum Homecare, All Care, Home Fundraising, Berry Recruitment

Pathfinder Personnel, and Autism Hampshire.
