ABP Cruise is set to exhibit at internationally-renowned Seatrade Europe next month (September 9-11).

Seatrade Europe, the Cruise and River Cruise Convention, is one of the largest trade fair and congress centres of its kind and will take place in Hamburg, Germany.

ABP Cruise, which covers the ports of Ayr and Troon, Barrow, Hull, Plymouth and Teignmouth, South Wales and Southampton, will collaborate with Cruise Britain to present Great Britain as a leading travel destination.

ABP Port of Southampton, which has been awarded ‘Britain’s most popular departure port’ in the Cruise Critics Editor’s Pick Awards, will see in excess of 430 cruise calls across its four dedicated cruise terminals this year. The port is seeing a continued increase in calls, vessel size and passenger numbers, with visits from the likes of P&O Cruises Britannia and Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas.

Rebekah Keeler, commercial manager at the port, said: “ABP Cruise looks forward to exhibiting at this distinguished event that brings together industry leaders from across the globe.

“With over 12,000km of coastline and home to some of the world’s major lines, Great Britain is positioned as a top cruise destination. We are proud to work collaboratively with Cruise Britain to promote this to the global market.”

In addition to conference sessions, the exhibition will bring together senior buyers, planners and key decision makers from Europe’s ocean and river cruise lines, along with suppliers from all sectors of the industries.
