THE Winchester Garrison has signed its first corporate covenant with a Sutton Scotney hotel to help boost benefits for the members of the Army community.
As a result of the move, Army personnel young and old will be able to take advantage of QHotels leisure club memberships and family breaks.
The agreement – which has been signed by Norton Park’s general manager Tom Fromm and Commander of the Garrison, Brigadier Allan McLeod – was celebrated with a special three-course lunch prepared by RAF students.
After the lunch, Mr Fromm said: ““We were very impressed, particularly as some of [the students] had only been learning for just a couple of months.
“We will be discussing ways of working together through collaborations with the garrison’s hospitality training staff, offering our commercial experience to support the students’ development.”
