SUBWAY in Chineham has opened for business today.
The franchise run by husband-and-wife team Vanessa and Spencer Mattia had a great start with a roaring trade when the store’s doors opened at 11am.
The first customer was 16-year-old BCoT student Jade Stoessel, from Brighton Hill.
She was picked to open the store after entering a Gazette competition and has won her height in Subway sandwiches.
Wishing Vanessa and Mattia the best of luck with their business venture, Jade said: “It’s great to be the one to open the store. I love Subway because they taste so good.”
Pick up this week’s Gazette and find a voucher on page 10 for a free six-inch sub sandwich, on offer when a large drink is purchased.
