A BUTLER in the buff is going up for auction at Basingstoke Rugby Club this weekend.
Centre player Rob Clark will be playing his part to support fundraising for the club at Down Grange this Saturday.
He will among the club’s first team that is being sold at an event called Auction of Promises.
The club’s Gemma Hinze said: “The first team will be playing its last home game of the league, so as we are finished with the players for the summer, we thought we would put them up for sale.
“We have 14 players up for grabs offering personal training sessions, an evening of Italian cuisine, and a butler in the buff.
“If you are after something different, don’t worry we have that covered too. We have massages from our physiotherapist and sports massage therapist, first team work experience, and fine dining for four in your own home.”
In addition, there is an opportunity to bid for a signed and framed limited edition tennis ball by Pete Sampras, plus a year’s gym membership at The Hampshire Court Hotel.
Gemma said: “It’s set to be an evening of great fun that will hopefully raise much needed funds for our new changing rooms.”
Saturday’s game starts at 3pm, with the evening’s event starting at 6pm.
