8:50am Wednesday 23rd November 2011 in Bishop's Waltham
VOLUNTEERS are needed to ensure a street party in honour of the Queen’s 60 years on the throne goes smoothly.
A Diamond Jubilee Street Party, partially funded by Bishop’s Waltham Parish Council, is planned in the High Street, in Bishop’s Waltham on Sunday June 3 next year, with a table down the full length of the street.
But now organisers are looking for volunteers to help with the planning of the event and some of the organising on the day in areas including graphic design, marketing, stewarding, table decorating, table and chair moving, clearing up or entertainment.
To offer your help call the parish council office on 01489 892323.
