POLICE in the Meon Valley are hunting a hit and run car and horsebox that knocked a cyclist off his bike.
A 51-year-old was clipped by the horsebox on the southbound A32 between Warnford and Corhampton at around 11.50am on Sunday September 9.
As the car overtook the cyclist the rear of the horsebox knocked the cyclist, causing him to fall from the bicycle.
PC Steve Wootton from the Fratton Roads Policing unit said: “The cyclist from Waterlooville suffered minor injuries and was seen by ambulance crews but not taken to hospital.
“The unknown vehicle failed to stop. It was a blue car towing a grey horsebox.
“I’d like to hear from anyone who may have spotted the vehicle on the A32 heading to Corehampton around that time.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Wootton at Fratton police station on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
