A MAN has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after allegedly biting off part of his victim’s ear in Bishop's Waltham.
Police believe Sean Jewell attacked a 37-year-old Southampton man in a drink-fuelled fight outside The Crown pub on Saturday, December 12.
The victim was initially treated at Winchester’s Royal Hampshire County Hospital before being referred to Salisbury for a consultation on plastic surgery.
Mr Jewell, 35, of Fifth Street, Portsmouth, will appear before magistrates on Thursday, March 11.
