THE cathedral canon tasked with preserving the 800-year-old Magna Carta is giving a talk in Waltham Chase next month.
The Rev Canon Edward Probert, canon chancellor of Salisbury Cathedral, will explore the history of the landmark document at a meeting of Waltham Chase History Group on May 5.
All are welcome from 7.30pm at Waltham Chase Methodist Church, Curdridge Lane. Entry costs £2.50 and includes tea, coffee and biscuits.
