UPHAM has been profiled from top to bottom as parish chiefs look to improve local life.
Villagers were quizzed for dozens of opinions, habits and improvements to the quiet village near Bishop’s Waltham to inform a new action plan, with almost half of locals responding to the survey.
Our Village, Our Voice took two-and-a-half years and over £1,200 to complete.
They most valued their tranquillity, church, Post Office and shops, with more than half raising strong concerns about road maintenance.
Concerns included flood prevention, dog litter and the effect of heavy delivery vehicles driving through the village.
