CONSULTATION has closed on planned improvements to a medieval square in Bishop’s Waltham.
The proposals for St George’s Square include demolishing a bus shelter, creating a small new building for market stalls and repaving the square.
Any changes will depend on the Sainsbury’s store development going ahead at Abbey Mill. The plans are tied into £300,000 improvements to Bishop’s Waltham agreed as part of the Sainsbury’s deal.
More than 50 people made their voices heard when the plans were displayed at King’s Church, High Street, last month.
