Big leap in committee spending in Bishop's Waltham
A BISHOP’S Waltham Parish Council committee is to get an increase in funding of 119 per cent.
The planning, environment and highways committee says it needs an extra £11,300.
A report presented to a meeting at the Jubilee Hall on Tuesday (Jan 13) put estimated expenditure at £22,696, with an income of just £1,951, leaving a requirement of £20,745.
The cash request was given the green light by the finance, policy and resources committee in November last year.
At the same meeting on Tuesday, councillors agreed their estimated expenditure for 2014/2015 to £402,576.
