OUTDOOR gym equipment will be installed at Perins School in Alresford thanks to a National Lottery grant.
Hampshire County and New Alresford Town Councils have also backed the project.
It is being dubbed The Fresh Air Gym and will include 12 pieces of robust, all-weather equipment.
They will be free to use, and will be next to the Evolution gym at the school campus.
Perins marketing manager Helen Armour said: “The idea is to make exercise available to all and to remove the barriers people might face when considering sport.”
She added: “The Fresh Air Gym is a fun and easy way to get active and start improving your health. You don’t need any special clothing or equipment and it’s completely free of charge.”
The equipment, which will be suitable for all ages, is due to be installed in the February half term.
