Burglars steal jewellery worth £20,000 in raid near Alresford

A HOUSE in a village near Alresford has been targeted by burglars.

The raider broke into a house on the A272 Petersfield Road, Bramdean.

Once inside the offender stole computer equipment and jewellery worth about £20,000 between 9am-6pm on Wednesday, November 16.

PC Nick Hines said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area. There would have been a number of motorists passing through on the A272.

“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw a silver estate car which was seen in the area that day.
