Scores of Alresford men growing moustaches for charity
A GROUP of Alresford men are turning back the fashion clock to grow moustaches for charity.
Organiser Ian Scammell, a local builder and retained firefighter, said some 50 men were taking part in Movember.
They gathered at the town fire station on Monday to compare upper lips and now will not shave for a month and then gather on November 26 at The Running Horse pub in the town to have them shaved off.
Mr Scammell said they hoped to raise £2,500 for cancer charity.
