AN experienced Alresford councillor is looking to climb the political ladder by representing the town on the city council.
Ken Yeldham, a former chairman of New Alresford Town Council, is looking to become the ward councillor for The Conservatives.
He will be contesting the seat vacated by Cllr George Hollingbery, who is hoping to become the MP for the Meon Valley.
