PUPILS at two Alresford schools are celebrating after receiving a £25,000 cash boost from the town's Co-op store.
The money was raised through the store's Community Support Card scheme over the last year and has been split between Sun Hill Junior School and Perins School.
A total of £18,750 will be spent on an overseas sports campaign at Perins and £6,250 will be spent on Sun Hill's Discovery Suite.
The scheme works by The Southern Co-operative donating funds to a chosen cause every time a customer has their special community cards swiped at the till point.
