A PUB in Alresford is holding a comedy night to lighten the mood of the long winter evenings.

It will feature Australian stand up, Colin Cole, who will be supported by John Newton and Sarah Pearce.

Neil Cole will compere the event, which is taking place at the Horse and Groom in Broad Street.

Tickets cost £5 in advance or £6.50 on the door, which includes a free drink.
