YOU would expect a talk about green issues hosted at a golf venue to focus solely on the art of putting.
But that's not the case for a meeting at Alresford Golf Club next Thursday (November 19).
An environmental group from the town has organised a get-together to hear about the likely impact of climate change.
The seminar, which runs from 7-9pm, will feature a talk by David Knight of Winchester Action on Climate Change on the latest scientific predictions.
The meeting, organised by the Alresford Greening Campaign, will then hear actions people can take to combat the process. Finally Alresford Golf Club will talk about steps it has already taken to combat climate change and details of its long-term energy plan.
