A FORMER independent Winchester city councillor has died, aged 80.
Walter Prideaux, who lived in Beauworth, represented Cheriton in the 1980s and retired in 1990.
He died at home on May 14. A thanksgiving service will be held at St Michaels church in Cheriton on Wednesday May 30 at 2.30pm.
