Former councillor to talk in Alresfoord on the funny side of local government
A FORMER city councillor and council officer will give a light-hearted talk on his time in local government.
Simon Cook, until recently the city councillor for Alresford and in the 1980s and early 90s chief leisure officer at the same council, will speak on April 19 at the AGM of Alresford History and Literary Society.
It meets at the Methodist Church on Jacklyns Lane at 7.30pm
