DUMPED horses which were left abandoned close to Alresford Golf Club have now been collected.
As reported in the Chronicle, six horses had been running wild at Alresford Golf Club near Winchester.
The horses were previously in a field close to the course but it is understood that their owners have now collected them.
The issue caused concern with local residents, and one of the horses which was abandoned died, prompting fears for the others' welfare.
The news comes after the RSPCA, put up a notice asking the owner of the horses to remove them within seven working days.
Jenna Shaw, of Cheriton, said they were collected by the owners, but added she fears they may be abandoned again.
