ARCHAEOLOGISTS have moved onto farmland near Alresford that is a potential site for hundreds of homes.
The experts are digging several trenches on land off Sun Lane to check for evidence of habitation from the Iron and Bronze Ages.
The information they glean will be included in any future planning publication.
