Avington church
ARTEFACTS are due to be returned to an Avington church next month after local enthusiasts compiled detailed records of the items.
Alresford Decorative and Fine Arts Society has produced histories, photographs and descriptions of several relics from the Church of St Mary the Virgin.
The Church Record will be handed over during St Mary's patronal festival at 6pm on Sunday, August 16. All are welcome.
A copy of the record will be held at the V&A Museum in London, joining a similar document produced by the society for Easton Church.
