THE Cheriton Talks has announced its 2015 programme.
The first will be a discussion on the condition of British politics with academic and journalist Peter Hennessy on February 14.
It is followed by an evening with art historian Douglas Skeggs, entitled ‘The Pilgrims of Babylon – The Artists of Montmartre’, on February 21.
Bishop of Carlisle, the Right Rev James Newcome presents ‘The Dying Well’ on February 28.
March sees an evening with Noreen Riols, who was member of the Special Operations Executive during World War Two (March 7), and Kevin O’Hare, director of the Royal Ballet Company (March 14).
Tickets cost £12 and are available from mid January. Proceeds go to St Michael and All Angels Church in Cheriton – the location for the talks.
