SPEEDING drivers in Alresford could soon be caught out after town councillors agreed to look into traffic calming measures on a busy road.
At last Thursday’s full council meeting chairman Cllr Lisa Griffiths suggested installing a warning sign in Nursery Road.
She said: “In light of the comments at the last meeting about speeding and making Nursery Road a 20mph zone, I would like to propose that we set it up to get an indication of how fast people are going down there.”
County councillor Jackie Porter suggested a laser box, which she said is less obvious and records more accurate data.
