Cala Homes pulls out of housing scheme near Bramdean
A DEVELOPER has dropped interest in trying to build on an industrial site between Bishop’s Sutton and Bramdean.
Cala Homes had been interested in developing Old Park Wood site on Old Park Road. But it has told the landowner Paul Docherty that the city council is against new homes in the middle of the countryside.
Bishop’s Sutton Parish Council chairman Aileen Miller said the news was disappointing. The site is little-used at the moment and is an eyesore.
