A SECLUDED garden in Old Alresford will open to the public this Sunday to raise funds for a family charity in Winchester.

The Hyde, hidden behind the village green, was designed for wildlife and features a wide range of flowers, vistas and vegetables.

All proceeds will go towards Home Start Winchester & District, a charity providing counselling and financial advice to parents with young children.

The garden will open from 2-5pm on September 14. Admission costs £4 with under-16s going free.
