SPEED checks in Kilmeston conducted early one morning reported no drivers breaking the law.
The speed trap was set up following a letter from the parish council to the chief constable.
Speeds were checked between 5.10-6.30am when six vehicles passed through the village, but none were exceeding the limit.
At Bramdean and Hinton Ampner Parish Council PC Paul McShea told the meeting that 1,590 vehicles had been caught by the speed camera van between Bramdean and Beauworth crossroads. There were 17 motorcycles. Only 84 offenders had a local postcode.
