KILMESTON village fete on June 7 raised an impressive £4,600 to be divided between the village hall and St Andrew’s church.
A charity cream tea is to be held in Kilmeston Village Hall on Sunday August 10 from 2-5pm.
Proceeds will go to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. Scone, jam and cream/cake plus tea costs £3.
meanwhile the parish council has written to the Chief Constable about drivers speeding through the village.
In an unrelated issue, chairman Mike Curtis will speak to local farmers about the number of foxes in the village.
