NO money is available for anti-flooding improvements in Cheriton, the parish council was told.
City councillor Harry Verney and flood co-ordinator Pat Lawrence attended a district meeting recently.
Cllr Verney has suggested a countywide levy be imposed by the county council to help flood-prone villages such as Cheriton.
