East Street in Alresford
A MEETING is to be held this Thursday to discuss changes to street lighting in an Alresford road.
Hampshire County Council is proposing to change the plans for street lights in East Street.
At Thursday’s town council meeting Cllr Roy Gentry said: “They want to put the lights on the south side of East Street. We have said we will not go along with that without getting residents’ opinions on it.”
The meeting will be held on Thursday at 6pm until 7.30pm. Councillors agreed to distribute leaflets to inform residents.
