RESIDENTS of Ropley will get the chance to have their say on where new homes should go at the latest exhibition run by East Hampshire District Council.

Although held in Alton, the event will focus on development in smaller villages around the town.

The other settlements included in the exhibition are Bentworth, Bentley, Farringdon and Froyle.

Held at the Alton Assembly Rooms between 3.30-8pm on Thursday July 2, it will give local people an opportunity to share their opinion on the most appropriate sites for development within the villages.

The council’s updated Joint Core Strategy proposes a target of 10,060 new homes across East Hampshire by 2028.
