A Winchester scout troop is holding a charity cooking competition next week.
The Backwoods Masterchef competition challenges teams of two-four people to cook dishes over an open fire they must build themselves.
There are six prize categories including team awards for under-11s, under-16s, under-18s, families and veterans, and a prize for best main course, dessert and drink.
It is held at Sparsholt College on Saturday, September 29 from 2pm. Entry costs £12 per for adults and £6 for children.
Proceeds will be used to improve 1st Winchester Scouts hut in Weeke which is too small for the 130 members and in need of repair.
