POLICE are investigating how a group of horses escaped from a village near Bishop’s Waltham.

The horses escaped their paddocks in Calcot Lane, Curdridge, overnight on Monday, September 3.

They were found the next morning by their owner in a nearby field.

PC Sarah Newman from Bishop’s Waltham police station said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen something suspicious in the area of Calcot Lane so that we can help the owner understand how her horses escaped.”
