AN open day is being held at the Worthy Down army base north of Winchester.
It is the home of the Adjutant General’s Corps (AGC), which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
It is responsible for many of the army’s personnel and legal duties along with educating soldiers and policing.
The open day, or ‘corps day’ as it is known, is taking place from 12.30pm onwards on Saturday, May 26.
Attractions will include army parachutists, military motorcycle display teams and classic vehicles.
Entry to the base is free and there will be no charge for parking.
The AGC was formed in 1992 by merging six bodies including the Women’s Royal Army Corps and Royal Army Educational Corps.
The others were the Royal Military Police, Royal Army Pay Corps, Military Provost Staff Corps and Army Legal Corps.
