Alresford-based care firm to create 40 jobs
AN Alresford company is set to create 40 jobs over the next six months.
Home Instead Care, which specialises in at-home care for the elderly, is looking for 40 new caregivers to join its team.
Owned by Steve and Jan Gapper, the company’s recruitment drive is part of its first birthday celebrations.
Mr Gapper said: “With Hampshire’s ageing population, caring for the elderly is a very important issue and we have found many people are grateful to learn that we offer a realistic ‘stay at home’ option.
“Although our existing caregivers come from a hugely varied background, the one thing they have in common is that they all have a real passion for helping others and caring for people in our local community.”
He added: “We provide all the necessary training and are a friendly, supportive team so professional experience is not essential. Whether you are 19 or 99, if you are a caring and compassionate person and would like to find out more, then we want to hear from you!”
