ANOTHER power cut left 3,000 Winchester homes without power on Monday.
A cable in Easton Lane, Winnall, was damaged by contractors working in the area at around noon on Monday (Feb 20).
Power was restored to the majority of properties within 20 minutes but around nine homes were still without electricity at 3pm.
A spokesman for Southern Electric said a generator was being brought in to service those homes and power should be restored by early evening.
It follows a series of power cuts that have affected the Kings Worthy area over the past few weeks due to a variety of problems including adverse weather and faulty substations.
