Sports teacher makes England lacrosse team

A WINCHESTER sports teacher will take on America after being selected for the England lacrosse team.

Stephanie Webb, who teaches at St Swithun's School, was moved into the elite squad and has now been selected to represent England A team in the USA and at this year's home internationals.

This means she will head out to Florida at the end of January.

Stephanie trialled first for the England under-21 squad back in 2008 and was successful the following year then from there she was selected to join the senior squad.
