A BRASS band concert will help to ensure the continuation of a community transport service.
The Bishop’s Waltham Minibus Group is holding a fundraising concert with music from Ocean Brass, a brass band based in Southampton at the Jubilee Hall, on Little Shore Lane, Bishop’s Waltham on Saturday January 28 at 7.30pm.
The performance will include traditional brass band pieces, songs from musicals and popular music.
The group is a committee that runs a minibus which can be hired out by community groups, clubs and schools.
It also takes elderly people to lunch clubs three times a week and once a week brings people from outlying areas into Bishop’s Waltham for shopping.
Money raised will help pay to keep the minibus on the road.
There will be a raffle and refreshments.
Tickets cost £7 or £2.50 for children.
You can buy them from the Apple Crumble and Kitsch shop on the High Street, on the door or by calling 01489 893125.
