THE Sealed Knot Society is to recreate the Battle of Cheriton near Alresford in July.
The re-enactment society will restage the 1644 clash that took place on fields between Cheriton and Bishop’s Sutton.
It will take place at Scrubbs Farm between 11am and 5.30pm on July 2-3. The re-enactment starts at 2.45pm.
As well as the recreation from the English Civil War there will be rural activities and stalls, living history camps, Napoleonic redcoats, medieval knights, and an archery and sword school.
Tickets are £7 for adults, £4 for children, a family ticket is £20.
