AN art show is taking place in Winchester to mark the end of the English Project’s latest series, Placing Your Language.
The exhibition at the Discovery Centre in Jewry Street, entitled Words on the Street, focuses on graffiti.
It will include historic graffiti from museum collections, some modern and local objects with graffiti, and recent work by artists, students and youth groups which sum up their own sense of place The show, which is backed by Winchester City Museums Service and the Heritage Lottery Fund, runs until Sunday, April 10.
Alongside the exhibition, there will be a showing on Thursday, March 31 of the Banksy documentary Exit through the Gift Shop.

The exhibition is taking place in the venue’s City Space gallery.
