World War Two memorabilia to go on display in Alresford

A UNIQUE collection of World War Two memorabilia will be on show in Alresford this Sunday, Septemeber 12.

Steve Weigall, of East Street, is displaying national newspapers, leaflets, posters, ration books, a Home Guard manual, and even a German helmet to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity.

Mr Weigall, who later served in the RAF, started collecting as a boy during the war.

The collection will be on show at the Alresford Community centre from 10am to 6pm. Entry is free, but donations would be appreciated.
