CITY councillors have again rejected a scheme for the back garden of a Winchester home.
Applicant Simon Machola asked Winchester City Council if he could put a three-bedroom house at the rear of ‘Warren Acres’ in Harestock Road.
Members of the authority’s planning sub-committee agreed with planning officers and rejected the plans.
A report on the application said it should be thrown out because it had a “cramped layout” and represented an “over-development” of the site.
Littleton and Harestock Parish Council objected to the scheme, as did eight other nearby residents.
In 2009 planners refused a similar scheme, this time for a three- and one-bedroom home.
