Cathedral applies for licence to sell alcohol at outdoor events

Winchester Cathedral has asked licensing chiefs if it can sell alcohol at its outdoor concerts.

The attraction says it wants to stage occasional concerts at The Pilgrims’ School playing fields, which will include the sale of drink and refreshments.
