AN Alresford based charity has donated £1,000 to buy a new hydrotherapy pool cover for the Pinder Centre in Avington.
The Alresford Pigs Association, raised the money through a number of community events for the well-known local charity that uses hydrotherapy to treat a range of health problems.
Heating the pool is one of the major running costs of the centre, so the new cover will help reducing costs.
Hydrotherapy helps people with muscle and joint problems such as neck and back pain, arthritis, and those with neurological conditions such as strokes, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.
